Octeth’s Secret Product Videos Revealed

29th Aug 2007, Posted by Posted by Cem under Filed under News, Product News Comments

Hi Everyone,

For a while, we are developing a new email marketing software and it’s almost 50% completed. It’s being developed from scratch. It has a new completely rewritten back-end and new user friendly interface.

We decided to publish some introduction videos to give you an idea what’s going on at Octeth. While we are developing and improving our market leader product Oempro and Mailium, we are preparing to release our third email marketing application in a few months.

Newsletterium is not a replacement of Mailium or Oempro. It’s a brand-new application.

We will publish more about Newsletterium in the following weeks. Stay tuned on our blog for latest movies.

You can use published videos on your blog posts as well.

What is the “purpose” of this application? Who is it targeted to? How does it differ from oemPro?

  3. Cem, September 6th, 2007

    Hi Gustavo,

Thanks for your kind comment. We are not going to stop Oempro or Mailium product line. We have seperate developer teams for each product and going to continue updating our Oempro and Mailium products as well.

We have several new features and improvements pending for next versions of Oempro and Mailium.

Newsletterium is a new email marketing solution targeted for the third segment.

    Hi Ed,

The purpose of Newsletterium is to suit the needs of hosting companies, service providers, large-sized companies and enterprises.

As you know, we have currently two email marketing solutions; Mailium and Oempro.

Mailium is for beginners, individuals and for sending newsletters easily with basic functions.

Oempro is for professional email marketers, small to big sized companies, hosting companies and service providers.

Newsletterium is going to be targeted for hosting companies and service providers especially.

In following weeks, we will announce more details about Newsletterium.

    Hi Cem,

We have been using Oempro for about 2 years now. We use it to create, send and manage about 14 different newsletters monthly for some of our clients. What do you advise us to do, stay with Oempro or switch to Newsletterium? What are the key differences between the two programs and is there a demo version of Newsletterium available / downloadable? Thanks for your reply.

    Mike

    Hi Mike,

We will publish comparison sheet for Mailium, Oempro and Newsletterium very soon. All these products target different user segments.

Mailium -> Novice users, beginners, individuals
Oempro -> Professional users, small service providers
Newsletterium -> Professional users, small to big sized service products, corporates

I am sorry, I can not give you more info about major differences of Newsletterium at the moment because it’s confidential at the moment. But keep an eye on our blog, we will continue publishing more information and videos about Newsletterium in coming weeks.

    Take care.

    Hi Cem,
sounds great, but will there be an upgrade path for Oempro owners? And will there be a bit of ‘trickle down’ of features from Newsletterium to Oempro like some of the Web 2.0 interface?

Will there be an upgrade or migration path? If a user starts with Mailium can they migrate to Oempro and then Newsletterium as their service grows?
