There are two types of mail lists in Oempro:

• Local Mail List
  Members are locally stored in Oempro database
• Outsourced Mail List
  Members are stored on a third party MySQL database (ex: your CRM database) and Oempro is linked to that database

To get benefit of all Oempro’s unique features and power, you need to use Local Mail Lists and host your members directly on Oempro’s database.

However, if you prefer storing your members on a third party MySQL database, Oempro will provide you great flexibility on using them without importing into Oempro database. In this case, Outsourced Mail Lists will suit all your needs.

Even there are great advantages of outsourced mail lists, Oempro’s some features are not available in Outsourced Mail Lists. Because members are stored on a third database.

Here’s the list of some disabled features in outsourced lists:

• Auto responders
• Subscription and unsubscription
• Member area
• Custom fields (instead, you can use your third party database fields)
• Opt-In/Out confirmation emails
•  Import and export functionalities
